YT24 Air-Leg Rock Drill
The YT24 is a pneumatic air-leg rock drill for horizontal and inclined blasthole drilling in medium to hard rock (f8–f18). It is used in underground mines, tunnels and galleries, and in infrastructure and construction works. It runs on the FT140BC or FT140BD air-leg and can also be mounted on rigs, wagons or sleds. A grouped control mechanism gives fast start-up and easy switching between air and water, and the FY200B external line oiler is included. SET Makina has been building rock drills since 1991, and the YT24 is available in two versions: TIGER (premium) and LIGER (economy).

LIGER YT24 is the economy version, sold at a lower price without warranty, spare parts kit or CE marking.
Which version should I choose for my site?

What compressor do I need for the YT24?
The YT24 consumes 3.60 m³/min of air at a working pressure of 6 bar, through a 3/4" air inlet. Choose a compressor with some extra capacity to cover hose losses. The drill should work within a maximum distance of 100 m from the compressor; for longer distances you need a TIGER Air Receiver.
Can the YT24 drill with water flushing?
Yes. The YT24 has a water connection as standard and works with air and water flushing, which keeps dust down when drilling horizontal and inclined holes underground.
