TIGERFILL
TIGERFILL is the heavy-duty TIGER® diamond wire saw machine designed specifically for marble applications. It is equipped with 50, 60, 75 or 100 HP (37–74 kW) six-pole electric motors running at 750–1,000 rpm, delivering high starting torque and achieving a maximum linear wire speed of 40 m/s on an 800 mm main pulley. Wire tension is kept constant by a PID control system that halts operation in case of wire breakage or failure. A 1,280 mm rail width and heavy cast frame provide improved cutting stability. A 1 HP servo auxiliary motor enables fast rail positioning, and the head rotates 360°. All functions are controlled via remote panel. Operates on two 3-meter rails with 8–11 mm diamond wire. Without rails the machine weighs 1,710 kg in the 60 HP configuration and 1,760 kg at 75 HP; each rail is 75 kg and the control panel 26 kg.
